The inspiration of the song came to me when my uncle passed away in 2009 and I always wanted to write a song or an album for him. The song is a balled in the key of D major and the chords of the song in order are D A Bflat minor and then G and the piano repeats throughout the entire song. It is the most saddest song on the 16th Street And Eve Album because how slow it is compared to how fast are the other songs are on the album. I mention how I am sad with my dad in my song My Love and what I am sad about is what this is song is about. I wrote the song for my dad and wrote some of the lines in the song in my perspective and my dads perspective. The first verse is about how my uncle used to play baseball and one time when he was pitching to my dad he fell on the ground and started feeling sick for the rest of his life. The second verse is about how he got me taco bell and took me through the taco bell drive thru. The third verse is about how he drove me to his house on cave creak and how I feel asleep on his bed that same night. The forth verse is about how my dad lost his brother and how he lost his bond which was his brother and I quote my dad in the song saying “the worst day ever”. The chorus is about remembering the day and crying. I wrote the lyrics for the song on April 16th and then recorded the song on June 27th and 28th and when I was recording the song I swear my uncle was messing with my recording and I think it was him to let me know that he hears me in heaven and then j get the final mix done on june 30th. For the Music Video, I decided to use the video that was shown at my uncles funeral. I hope you enjoy listing to When You Passed Away and this is the Inspiration Behind it.The inspiration behind the song came to me when I got bullied one time in my life and got in trouble for getting bullied. I recorded the song on June 25th of 2019 after I got my fillings at the dentist office and my mouth was numb when i was recording the song and the. got the final mix done that night. The piano riff came to me when I was just hitting the keys on april 16th and its a rolling piano that switches between D major and B flat minor to make it sound suspenseful. The song starts off with the piano riff and then the synth comes in playing the chord on measure 8 and on octave 5 and them the bass note comes in on octave 1 playing the bass riff which is the notes d them b flat them a them g and the synth still in octave 5 and then its just the synth chord in octave 3 and then the first verse comes in and the synth is in octave 4 and then between the verses the synth is still in octave 3 and the bass riff plays for 4 measures and after verse 2 the synth is playing the chords in octave 3 and then its the pre chorus and the bass riff now plays on octave 6 when the synth chords is still in octave 3 and then right after the synth it is just the synth chords in octave 4 and then the chorus comes and the synth is playing in octave 3 and then after the chorus is the same instrumental between the measures and then the music repeats for measures 3 and 4 and then right after the chorus the outro of the song is the reverse of measures 1-12. Xavier is the 9th track on the 16th Street And Eve Album and I hope you enjoy listing to Xavier. This is the Inspiration Behind Xavier.
I started writing Be A Friend on Thanksgiving Morning of 2018 and finished the song with a never ending piano riff and guitar riff that happens twice in the song. What inspired me to write the song is because I lost a good friend of mine for a reason that I can not control and the meaning of the song is just to be a friend. The music form the song was inspired by queen and journey. The verses are about how to be a good friend and the chorus is just me singing be a friend in a catchy way. The song is in the key of G and the chords throughout the whole song is G D Em D Em C and the piano plays the same riff throughout the entire song. The song starts with the piano riff for 8 measures and then it is the chorus and then it is just 4 measures of the piano riff. Then it is the first verse and then between the first verse and the second verse the guitar riff plays and the notes in the solo are the note of the chords used in order they are used in the piano riff. Then it is the second verse and then the song repeats itself from the beginning for verses 3 and then 4 and then after the last chorus it is just the piano riff and them the song fades out for the last 8 measures. I recorded Be A Friend on June 23rd and got the final mix done for the song on June 27th. Be A Friend is the 8th track on the 16th Street And Eve Album. I hope Be A Friend inspires you to be a friend to anyone and I hope you enjoy listening to it.
